What a weekend!

We just had the most fun-filled weekend celebrating the birthday of our great country and celebrating the birthday of my awesome sister!

We started our weekend on Thursday night with an all adult date night to Chopstix dueling piano bar. Linds & Sean, Keven and I, my parents and Grandma all went and we had a great time! I have no pictures of the evening but we really did have fun!

Independence day was spent mostly relaxing at home with our family but we also spent some time with extended family as well and this was the first year that we had our kids up late enough to experience some fireworks. We really had no choice and our neighborhood put on quite a show! It was so fun to experience the fun through Asher's eyes! He was so excited about it all. Tatum was still a little unsure but she was safe sitting in NeNe's car!

Asher and Tatum liked watching but did not like the noise

Saturday morning we headed to our local farmer's market and ended up down there for about four hours, wandering around, visiting the library and having lunch. It was so wonderful to have beautiful weather this weekend!

Sunday was Lindsey's actual birthday and her husband, Sean had planned a nice surprise for her! She & Sean, and five other couples headed to a Mariner's game! We all took the train up to Seattle and surprised her by getting on in Puyallup while she and Sean got on at the next stop in Sumner....It was another beautiful day and quite a game to be at. 15 innings later we were on our way home. The train is a great way to get to the game but unfortunately, you can't leave until the game is over! My parents had all four kids for the day and we were a little behind schedule as you can imagine! We ended a fun weekend with a birthday barbecue at my parent's house.

Lindsey and Reagan were really excited about this gift! (I think it was serving utensils)
